About the Project:

The Orange County Regional Fire Operations and Training Center in Irvine, California is the main operations and training center for the Orange County Fire Authority.

The 16.5-acre site consists of five primary components plus the training grounds and associated structures.

The project buildings include a public services and support Center, 911 communications building, vehicle maintenance center, material management center and the training tower.

The training tower is a six-story burn prop that will be used for high-rise, industrial and residential training scenarios. The tower also includes an observation window so that the public can observe fire fighting techniques.

The project included over 1,300 tons of structural and miscellaneous steel over 250,000 square feet of buildings.
